Shakshuka eggs are ideal for breakfast, lunch or brunch.

The recipe is of Middle East/North African origin and is made by poaching farm-fresh eggs in a spicy tomato/vegetable sauce.  It is extremely popular right now, especially as a vegetarian dish.
