Salsa Verde Chicken Tacos

Salsa Verde Chicken TacosThe mild flavor of fresh green tomatillos, cilantro, onion and garlic combine to make this fresh-tasting salsa verde.  Salsa verde is a perfect compliment to meats and fish or any vegetarian dish.  


1 16 oz. jar of Larry’s All Natural Salsa Verde
8 soft or crunchy corn tortillas
2 cups roasted chicken, shredded
1 cup shredded cotijo, Monterrey Jack or mild cheddar cheese
1 cup finely shredded lettuce
1 cup minced fresh tomato

Warm the tortillas in a large skillet or microwave if using soft corn tortillas. Keep warm.  Spread ¼ cup shredded chicken on each tortilla. Spoon two tablespoons of Larry’s All Natural Salsa Verde on each tortilla.  Top with shredded lettuce and cheese.  Serves four.
